How We Got Started Buying Ugly Houses

RHO Enterprises, originally started as an independently owned and operated franchise of HomeVestors of America founded in 2005 by two civil engineers and a financial planner. With strong construction and finance backgrounds, RHO Enterprises has flourished even during the housing and economic downturn. What started as a single rehab project in Penn Hills, has grown into a multi-million dollar partnership involving over 2,100 real estate investors, dozens of contractors, and many other real estate professionals, including agents, lenders, title companies, inspectors, and appraisers.

He was previously employed as a civil engineer and oversaw the development of dozens of projects including the construction of wastewater treatment plants in Rostraver and St. Mary, both costing $6.2 and $20.4 million dollars, respectively.
